SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy explains how NordPaja handles order processing, production, shipping, delivery estimates, and related shipping issues.

1. Order Processing and Production Time

Many NordPaja products are 3D printed, made in small batches, or made to order.

Processing time means the time needed to prepare, produce, check, and pack your order before it is handed over to the shipping carrier.

Estimated processing time:

- Ready-to-ship products: 1–3 business days
- Made-to-order 3D-printed products: 2–7 business days
- Custom or personalized products: 3–14 business days, depending on the product and order details

Processing times are estimates only. During busy periods, seasonal demand, material shortages, or for complex custom orders, processing may take longer.

If your order requires additional information, design approval, or clarification, production may begin only after we receive the required details from you.


2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

- Finland
- European Union countries
- Other countries only if available at checkout or agreed separately

Available shipping destinations may change from time to time.

If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us at info@nordpaja.fi before placing an order.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and shown during checkout before you place your order.

Shipping costs may depend on:

- delivery country;
- package size and weight;
- selected shipping method;
- order value;
- available carrier options.

You will always be able to review the shipping cost before completing your order.

Possible example rates:

- Finland: from 6€
- European Union: from 9€
- Free shipping in Finland for orders over 50€, if applicable

If free shipping is offered, it applies only under the conditions stated at checkout or in the relevant promotion.


4. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery time means the time after your order has been processed, produced, packed, and handed over to the shipping carrier.

Estimated delivery times:

- Finland: 2–5 business days after dispatch
- European Union: 5–14 business days after dispatch
- Other countries: delivery time varies by destination

These delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be delayed due to carrier delays, customs processing, incorrect address details, weather conditions, strikes, public holidays, seasonal demand, or other circumstances outside our control.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you using the email address provided with your order.


5. Total Estimated Time

Total estimated time = processing / production time + shipping time.

For example:

- Ready-to-ship item within Finland: usually about 3–8 business days total
- Made-to-order item within Finland: usually about 4–12 business days total
- Custom product within the EU: usually about 8–28 business days total

These estimates are provided for guidance only.


6. Shipping Carriers

Orders may be shipped using carriers such as Posti, Matkahuolto, DHL, UPS, or another available carrier depending on destination, package size, and selected shipping method.

The available carrier or delivery method may vary depending on your location and checkout options.


7. Tracking

If tracking is available for your selected shipping method, you will receive a tracking link by email after your order has been shipped.

Tracking information may take some time to update after the package has been handed over to the carrier.

Some low-cost or small-item shipping methods may not include full tracking.


8. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.

Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

NordPaja is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or uncollected package, we may contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping costs may apply.


9. Uncollected Packages

If a package is not collected from a pickup point or delivery location and is returned to us, this does not automatically count as a cancellation or return request.

If you wish to cancel or return an order, you must clearly contact us at info@nordpaja.fi in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

If an uncollected package is returned to us, we may deduct reasonable return shipping or reshipping costs where permitted by law.


10. Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

- your order number;
- a short description of the issue;
- clear photos of the product;
- clear photos of the packaging, if relevant.

We will review the issue and offer an appropriate solution, such as replacement, repair, refund, or other remedy depending on the situation.

Please do not send damaged or incorrect items back before contacting us.


11. Risk of Loss or Damage

For consumer orders, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive physical possession of the goods.

If you choose a carrier or shipping method that we did not offer, the risk may pass to you when the goods are handed over to that carrier.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.


12. Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes

For orders shipped within Finland or the European Union, customs duties usually do not apply.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, the customer may be responsible for import duties, customs fees, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges required by the destination country.

These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees unless clearly stated otherwise.

NordPaja is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.


13. Delivery Restrictions

Some products may not be available for shipping to all countries or regions.

We may refuse or cancel an order where delivery is not possible, where shipping restrictions apply, or where the shipping address is incomplete, invalid, or outside our service area.

If we cancel an order for this reason after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid.


14. Local Pickup or Event Sales

If local pickup, market pickup, or event pickup is available, this will be stated separately at checkout or agreed directly with NordPaja.

Please do not visit a pickup location without confirmation.

Products purchased at fairs, markets, or events may have separate delivery or pickup arrangements, but your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
